Job summary

Mom’s Meals seeks an Intake Manager in Des Moines, IA to lead a large team of Intake Specialists and Supervisors, guiding authorization workflows for Area Agencies on Aging, Managed Care Organizations, and Health Plans.

You will optimize cross-functional processes, run weekly operational reviews, and drive performance through training and data-driven reports, while maintaining strong relationships with health plan partners and care networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years' management experience in health/human services/managed care/insurance.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Intake Specialists and Supervisors.
• Track and document employee performance; conduct reviews.
• Create and distribute reports for senior leadership.
• Train and coach staff to drive satisfaction, accuracy and efficiency.
• Lead cross-functional operations meetings and stakeholder relationships.
