Job summary

Coastal Harbor Health System in Savannah, GA, part of Universal Health Services (UHS), seeks an Intake Counselor for night shift support in intake and admissions. The role supports treatment planning, data entry, and coordination with MDs and referrals.

Responsibilities

This Full Time 11:30pm-7:30am opportunity in Intake and Admissions will support the purpose and procedures of the entire intake and admission process. It offers a night shift schedule of 40 hours per week and full benefits. There is opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested.

Coastal Harbor Health System is comprised of a 114-bed hospital for children and adolescents, providing both short- and long-term inpatient care, and a 50 bed inpatient hospital serving men and women, ages 18 and up. Qualifications

Intake Counselor Job Requirements:

• Master’s degree in social work/counseling/psychology or related field OR current license to practice nursing in GA (or eligible to receive or renew) REQUIRED.
• Experience working in the behavioral health field required; inpatient setting experience preferred
• Demonstrated comprehension of psychiatric and substance abuse disorders and level-of-care determinations
• Previous heavy data entry experience
