Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare is seeking an Intake Coordinator PRN for weekends to support admissions and coordinate intake processes at our Bowie, MD facility. You will sign admission paperwork, verify licenses and insurance, and assemble client treatment files while communicating with departments to facilitate admissions.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor in human services is preferred. Candidates must pass background checks and screenings.

• Background checks, drug screening, and state-mandated clearances required.

Responsibilities

• Explain and sign admission paperwork.
• Process and copy driver’s license/insurance information.
• Create/start client treatment file.
• Contact Probation/Parole/Employer for the client and assist in obtaining admission/discharge letters.
• Facilitate admission/discharge by coordinating with all departments.
• Maintain paperwork, notes, and application statuses per funding source requirements.
• Conduct level of care assessments for all clients.
• Complete aftercare goals for detox-only clients and set up discharge summaries.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Job Title: Intake Coordinator PRN Weekends

Location: Prince George County

Shift: 3pm-11:30pm

Facility Address: 3000 Lottsford Vista Road, Bowie

Weekend and Weekday Shifts Available

Deliverables/Principal Results Expected

• Explain and sign admission paperwork;

Licensure, Education, & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or bachelor's degree in a human services-related field preferred.
