Job summary

ProSource in Houston is seeking an Intake Coordinator to be the first point of contact for patients entering our home health care services. You will manage referrals, verify insurance, and coordinate with physicians and case managers to streamline admissions.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of intake experience, solid knowledge of Kinnser/WellSky and AIDEN/AIDA, plus strong communication and organizational skills. Bilingual abilities are a plus, with on-call rotation as part of duties.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of intake experience in home health care.
• Strong working knowledge of AIDEN/AIDA and Kinnser/WellSky.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming referrals and initiate the intake process
• Verify insurance and obtain authorizations
• Communicate with physicians, hospitals, and case managers
• Enter patient and physician information into Kinnser (WellSky)
• Work closely with the Patient Care Coordinator to ensure staffing needs are met
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure timely admissions
• Ensure all documentation meets Medicare and agency standards
• Required to be ON-Call on a rotating shift.
