Hendricks Behavioral Hospital in Plainfield, IN seeks an Intake Assessment Clinician for full-time overnight shifts Fri–Sun 7pm–7:30am, with shift differential and weekend pay. The role focuses on responding to referrals and supporting discharge planning.

Responsibilities include documenting inquiry calls, assessing and stabilizing patients, coordinating with on-call doctors, handling admissions paperwork, maintaining an intake log, and following hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a human relations field.
• Indiana licensure as a mental health professional (Social Worker, Counselor, or RN with MHP) preferred.
• Experience in intake assessment activities within an acute psychiatric setting preferred.
• Working knowledge of the latest DSM and Mental Status Exam; familiarity with the Addiction and Recovery field.

Compensation

Compensation: $31.00–$36.00 hourly, based on experience. No travel required.
