Job summary

Northeast Delta Human Services Authority seeks a Social Worker 4 – Intake Specialist at the R.I.S.E. Treatment Center in Monroe, LA.

You will conduct intakes, determine level of care, provide psychotherapy, and maintain therapeutic relationships with a small caseload of clients. The role requires licensure as LCSW or eligibility, a MSW, and at least three years in social services, with experience in addiction and co-occurring disorders.

Qualifications

• MSW degree required and three years of social services experience.
• LCSW licensure or license eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial substance use and mental health screenings and gather psychosocial, medical, and treatment history.
• Verify insurance, Medicaid, and funding eligibility; coordinate authorizations and pre-admission approvals; document in the EHR.
• Provide individual psychotherapy and develop/update individualized treatment plans using evidence-based approaches.
