Job summary

La Frontera Arizona is seeking an Intake Clinician for EMPACT-SPC in Arizona. The role focuses on community outreach, enrollment, and coordination of behavioral health resources for youth and adults.

The incumbent will engage uninsured or under-insured individuals and facilitate referrals via MHBG/CBHSF grants, coordinating in-home, school, or office-based services. The position requires BHT certification, basic clinical skills, and strong communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Must qualify as a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT).
• Basic clinical skills are required.
• Effective written and verbal communication is essential.
• Comfort with public speaking and outreach to businesses, agencies, and schools.
• Strong personal organization and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Training or presentation experience is beneficial.
• Proficient with MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of NextGen EMR is preferred but not required.
• Must have a Fingerprint Clearance Card or be eligible to obtain one.
• Must be 21 years of age or older at time of employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 40 hours of work per week with a goal of 15 hours of direct client contact and case management as needed.
• Ensure quality service delivery and comply with the agency’s standard of care.
• Participate in regular supervision and collaborate with the clinical team and staff.
• Demonstrate schedule flexibility, including occasional evenings and weekends.
