Job summary

Community Renewal Team Inc. is seeking an Intake/Certification Specialist to support scheduling customer appointments, conduct intake, and determine eligibility for program services.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, referrals to resources, and strong customer service in a community-based energy services setting. The position requires collaboration with the Energy Department, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree preferred; a high school diploma with relevant work experience may be substituted.
• Experience with non-profit or community volunteering is an asset.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Driving is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate customer intake appointments.
• Review applications and documentation for accuracy and eligibility.
• Assist customers with program guidelines and referrals to resources.
• Maintain orderly paper files and accurate computer-based records.
• Provide excellent oral and written communication across diverse backgrounds.
