Job summary

Float Health, a remote-first startup, seeks an Intake Specialist to coordinate start-of-care visits and liaise between patients, nurses, and specialty pharmacies. You’ll use Zendesk, Google Suite, and Slack to ensure timely staffing and care delivery, while delivering excellent customer service.

Expect a base salary range of $48,000–$50,000 with full benefits, 40 hours per week, and weekend availability within PST hours. This is a remote US-based role supporting diverse patient needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical scheduling environments.
• Ability to juggle multiple platforms and tasks simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Typing speed of 60 words per minute with high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate start of care visits and collect information from pharmacies and patients.
• Match nurses to patients and onboard patients to Float Health.
• Manage logistics and schedules to ensure safe home visits.
• Communicate with pharmacies, nurses, and patients via email, phone, chat and SMS.
• Support cross-functional teams in documentation and workflows.
