Druid City Infusion, part of the Vital Care Infusion Services network, is hiring an Intake and Authorizations Coordinator to oversee home infusion authorizations and ensure timely, compliant patient care.

You will verify benefits, secure prior authorizations, coordinate with providers, payors, and the pharmacy team, and maintain accurate records within the EMR system, supporting smooth workflows and service quality.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Healthcare administration or related experience preferred.
• Proficiency with EHR and pharmacy management platforms; HIPAA compliance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits for home infusion care.
• Secure prior authorizations from insurers for home infusion services and meds.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers, franchise, insurance companies, and sales teams.
• Submit all required documentation to insurers to support authorization requests.
• Maintain comprehensive records of authorization requests and outcomes in the EMR.
• Generate reports on authorization activities for management.
