InfuCare Rx is seeking an Intake Authorization Coordinator to manage benefits verification, prior authorizations, and patient financial counseling. You will liaise with Caregivers, Physicians, and internal teams to ensure efficient intake and exceptional service within a compliant framework.

Requirements include 2+ years in intake coordination, strong communication, and proficiency with Excel and Word. This role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and teamwork in a home infusion setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Intake Authorization Coordinator.
• Excellent communication skills including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.
• Computer skills including Excel, Internet, and word processing.
• Ability to calculate dosages and financial figures.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking capability.
• Work well under stress and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance benefits, obtain prior authorizations, and assist with certificates of medical necessity when needed.
• Coordinate intake with Caregivers, Physicians, and stakeholders; ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain accurate records in the pharmacy management system.
• Assist onboarding patients and support revenue with billing and collections.
• Answer and direct incoming calls; support team as needed.
• Protect patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and regulations.
