A growing personal injury law firm in Norfolk, VA, is seeking an Intake Attorney to serve as the first point of contact for potential clients. The Intake Attorney's role includes conducting consultations, evaluating case validity, and guiding clients through the claims process. This position requires a Juris Doctor degree and preferably over 2 years of personal injury law experience, along with excellent communication and analytical skills. Qualifications
Licensed to practice law in Virginia.
2+ years of experience in personal injury law preferred.
Ability to assess case strengths and weaknesses quickly.
Responsibilities
Conduct intake interviews with prospective clients.
Evaluate legal viability of claims based on facts and injuries.
Review medical records and accident reports.
Advise clients on legal rights and claims process.
Gather relevant evidence for cases.
Maintain accurate case documentation.
Coordinate with support staff for preparation of cases.
Assist in drafting initial legal documents when necessary.
