Job summary

100KCrossing seeks an Intake Attorney for a leading plaintiff-side firm with a global intake team. You will act as the legal authority, issuing sign/decline calls and shaping screening standards for mass tort, personal injury, and rideshare cases.

You will lead a fast-paced, high-volume intake operation, ensuring ethical, trauma-informed handling while driving strategic growth for retained matters across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active license to practice in one or more U.S. states.
• At least two years in mass torts, personal injury, or a comparable plaintiffs'-side practice.
• Solid grasp of damages and liability analysis, and insurance coverage fundamentals.
• Track record of fast, sound decision-making at volume.
• Strong interpersonal skills with empathy for clients.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate prospective mass tort, personal injury, and rideshare matters and issue retain/decline calls.
• Own and refine screening standards, criteria, and escalation rules for each practice area.
• Manage high-value, sensitive intakes with discretion and trauma-informed handling.
• Coach the 60+ member global intake team on ethics, statutes, and avoid unauthorized practice of law.
• Ensure limitations dates are identified and calendared for retained matters across jurisdictions.
• Oversee disclosures, fee agreements, and HIPAA authorizations to stay compliant.
• Collaborate with marketing, litigation teams, and mass tort leadership to align intake with firm strategy.
