Wellstone Regional Hospital (UHS facility) in Jeffersonville, Indiana, is seeking a part-time Intake Clinician for Monday and Friday, 10am-10pm. The role involves facilitating requests for services, referrals, and assessing patient needs within a psychiatric/mental health setting.
Qualified candidates hold a graduate degree in Social Work or related field or Indiana RN license, with at least two years of direct clinical experience. CPR and CPI training before independently working are required.
Wellstone Regional Hospital (UHS facility) is a 100-bed acute care facility located in Jeffersonville, Indiana and has been providing quality health care to the residents of Southern Indiana and the Louisville area since 2003. Wellstone specializes in the treatment of Adolescents, Children, and the Adult population. In addition to our in-patient services, we offer out-patient programs as well. Wellstone is currently seeking a dynamic and talented Intake Clinicians, part-time, Monday and Friday, 10am-10pm.
The Intake Clinician is responsible for the facilitation of requests for services, resource referral, assessment of patient/family clinical needs, and interfaces with managed care organizations, external reviewers, and other payors.
Education/Licensure: Graduate Degree in Social Work, Mental Health/Behavioral Sciences, or related field and/or currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the state of Indiana.
Experience: Minimum of two years experience in direct clinical experience in a psychiatric/mental health/chemical dependency setting PREFERRED.
Additional Requirements: Experience in patient assessment, referral, treatment planning and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities. Completion of CPR course and completion of CPI prior to working independently.
