Cool Springs Surgery Center in Franklin, TN seeks an Insurance Verifier with the ability to communicate effectively with payors, staff, physicians and patients. The role requires timely insurance verification and accurate data entry in the practice management system.
The Insurance Verifier will handle patient demographics, verify benefits, inform patients of responsibilities, and support timely collection efforts while collaborating with the facility team.

Insurance Verifier will possess excellent written and verbal skills and be in communications with physicians offices and patients. Responsibilities will include the verification of benefits and coverages of insurance plans specific to the patient with the ability to calculate an estimated responsibility. Contact will be made with patients to make payment arrangements for upcoming procedures. Verifier will also work closely with other members of the facility in order to source the most accurate information available for all cases to be worked.
Job Summary:
Ability to communicate effectively with insurance payors, Center's staff, physicians and their staff, patients and their families. Must be able to verify insurance in a timely manner. Ability to handle frequent interruptions that result in having to re-evaluate priorities. Keyboarding, medical terminology and detail oriented.
The Insurance Verifier associate is responsible for entering, correcting and verifier all patient demographics and financial billing information in the practice management system and patient record.
