Job summary

USPI Medical Park Tower Surgery Center in Austin, TX is seeking a motivated full-time Insurance Verifier to join our team. The role focuses on validating patient information and insurance coverage for outpatient procedures, across General, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic and Urology services.

Weekdays only; some early mornings and late evenings may apply, with schedule changing to match surgical flow. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in insurance verification, excellent communication skills, and

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in insurance verification.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate with patients over the phone and in person.
• Medical Terminology experience preferred.
• Forty-five (45) wpm typing skills required.
• Must have the skills necessary to operate the office equipment required to fulfill job duties.
• Familiar with patient accounting software, especially AdvantX.
• Knowledge of Internet Explorer, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook.

We perform outpatient surgical procedures in General, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic, Urology. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call.
