Job summary

USPI Hill Country Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking an Insurance Verifier to join our team in Texas. The role supports outpatient GI procedures with one OR and three procedure rooms.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in insurance verification.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate with patients over the phone and in person.
• Medical Terminology experience preferred.
• Forty-five (45) wpm typing skills required.
• Must have the skills necessary to operate the office equipment required to fulfill job duties.
• Familiar with patient accounting software, especially AdvantX.
• Knowledge of Internet Explorer, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook.

We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Gastroenterology. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call.
