Job summary

USPIMedical Park Tower Surgery Center in Austin, TX is seeking a Full-Time Insurance Verifier to join our outpatient surgery team. The role requires weekday shifts only, no holidays, weekends, or on-call, with some early mornings and later evenings as surgeries dictate.

You will validate patient information, verify benefits, determine co-pays, and enter data into the patient accounting system, liaising with physicians, insurers, and patients to ensure accurate billing.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in insurance verification.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate with patients over the phone and in person.
• Medical Terminology experience preferred.
• Forty-five (45) wpm typing skills required.
• Must have the skills necessary to operate the office equipment required to fulfill job duties.
• Familiar with patient accounting software, especially AdvantX.
• Knowledge of Internet Explorer, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook.
