Responsibilities

• Verify benefits and obtain pre-certification/pre-authorization for exams.
• Coordinate care for prescheduled diagnostic appointments within imaging.
• Handle correspondence regarding patient insurance, demographics, appointments, and billing.
• Pre-register patients accurately and maintain files.
• Collaborate with physician office staff to obtain necessary documentation.
• Maintain customer service standards and manage multiple phone lines.
• Communicate insurance coverage and provide good faith estimates to self-pay patients.
• Assist with monthly departmental reports and patient liaison duties.
