Responsibilities

• Initiates online verification or calls Insurance Carriers/Plan Administrators to verify benefits and precert outpatient services.
• Documents eligibility, benefits and precertification data in Epic accurately and timely.
• Maintains daily worklists and prioritization to meet department standards.
• Secures all applicable accounts with due diligence and maintains productivity.
• Communicates improvements or issues to department management.
