Job summary

Safepoint Insurance in Tampa, FL is seeking an Underwriting Service Associate to handle inbound calls from customers, agents, and policyholders, providing administrative support to the Underwriting department in a fast-paced, onsite office.

The role requires a valid Florida Property & Casualty license with ability to obtain reciprocal licenses nationwide; strong customer service and computer skills; and the ability to manage 50+ calls daily while meeting productivity and quality targets.

Qualifications

• 1+ year Property & Casualty insurance experience.
• Ability to handle 50+ calls per day.
• Must obtain and maintain Florida P&C license and reciprocal licenses in all 50 states.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to agents and policyholders in a high-volume call center.
• Process corrections or adjust records per guidelines.
• Review, organize, and escalate information for resolution.
• Meet productivity and quality metrics.
• May work extended hours or weekends during catastrophes.
