Job summary

Safepoint MGA, LLC is seeking an Underwriting Service Associate to handle inbound calls from customers, agents, and policyholders regarding applications and existing policies. You will provide administrative support to the Underwriting department in a fully onsite Tampa, FL environment.

Responsibilities include delivering excellent service in a high-volume setting, processing corrections, and escalating information as needed.

Qualifications

• Min 1 year of Property & Casualty Insurance experience.
• Property & Casualty Insurance licenses required (4-40 or 20-44).
• Passion for customer service.
• Advanced computer skills and insurance systems knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products required.
• English - Spanish bilingual skills is a plus.
• Demonstrated customer service focus required.
• Excellent communication skills with internal and external personnel and partners.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Results driven with strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented and exceptionally organized.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service to agents and policyholders in a moderate to high-volume call center environment
• Processes corrections or adjusts records when needed, following the appropriate company guidelines
• Reviews, organizes, and forwards information to be escalated for resolution as needed
• Adheres to the established productivity and quality metrics established
• Other tasks and projects as may be assigned
• You may be required to work extended hours and weekends to support business operations during a catastrophe (e.g., hurricane) affecting Safepoint’s policyholders
