Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in insurance, risk management, or related field required.
• 3–5 years underwriting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate insurance applications and assess the risks involved, ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines and state regulations.
• Determine the appropriate coverage terms, limits, deductibles, and premiums for policies, considering factors such as loss history, market conditions, and industry trends.
• Conduct thorough underwriting analyses to support the issuance of new business and the renewal of existing policies.
• Review and approve or decline insurance applications based on risk assessments and underwriting guidelines.
• Monitor policy performance and provide recommendations for policy adjustments or cancellations as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all underwriting activities and decisions.
