Job summary

EY seeks a Senior Consultant to join its Life Insurance architecture practice, delivering target-state architectures and transformation initiatives for life and group insurance clients.

You will collaborate with business and technology teams to define architectures, artifact creation, and roadmaps while leveraging cloud platforms, APIs, and data strategies across the insurance value chain. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of relevant consulting, architecture, or technology experience.
• 3+ years of experience across Life Insurance, Annuities, or Group Benefits.
• Experience developing solution, application, integration, or enterprise architecture deliverables for large-scale transformation programs.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and delivery of solution architectures for Life & Group Insurance transformation initiatives.
• Develop architecture artifacts, solution designs, and technical specifications across policy administration, underwriting, claims, servicing, integrations, data, and reporting.
• Partner with business and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable and sustainable technology solutions.
• Contribute to target-state architecture roadmaps and modernization strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Evaluate platform capabilities and support solution option assessments, including technology recommendations and trade-off analyses.
• Assist with integration architecture efforts, including APIs, middleware, cloud services, and enterprise system connectivity.
• Support data architecture activities, including data migration, reporting, analytics, and cloud-based data platforms.
• Participate in architecture governance processes, design reviews, and compliance with enterprise standards and security requirements.
• Collaborate with delivery and engineering teams to ensure solution designs are effectively implemented and architectural standards are maintained.
• Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, cloud capabilities, and AI innovations, while contributing to architecture best practices, accelerators, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
