Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager to join our BTG practice to help clients architect and modernize their business and technology ecosystems. You will lead architecture strategy for large-scale insurance transformations, guiding multidisciplinary teams through complex decisions and ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.

You will drive AI-enabled modernization programs, oversee data and integration architectures, and partner with executives to translate business priorities into actionable roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 8+ years of consulting, technology, or architecture experience.
• 5+ years of experience within Life Insurance, Annuities, or Group Benefits
• Experience serving as Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect, Technical Architect, or Lead Architect on large transformation programs.
• Deep understanding of Life & Annuity value chain (product development, underwriting, policy admin, servicing, billing, claims, distribution).
• Experience with policy administration platforms (FAST, FINEOS, ALIP, OIPA, DXC wmA/CyberLife, EXL LifePro, or similar).
• Experience designing enterprise integration architectures (APIs, middleware, event-driven).
• Knowledge of Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture strategy, target-state design, and modernization roadmaps for large-scale insurance programs.
• Advise executives on technology investments, platform strategies, and transformation decisions.
• Define scalable, secure enterprise architectures across business, application, data, integration, and technology domains.
• Drive adoption of AI-enabled solutions to improve outcomes and efficiency.
