Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in the BTG practice to lead architecture strategy for large-scale insurance transformation initiatives. You will guide target-state designs, technology investments, and integration roadmaps while managing multidisciplinary teams across onshore/offshore delivery models.

You will drive AI-enabled modernization, govern architecture decisions, and collaborate with executives to deliver measurable business value.

Qualifications

8+ years of consulting, technology, or architecture experience.
5+ years in Life Insurance, Annuities, or Group Benefits.
Experience as Solution/Enterprise/Technical Architect on large programs.
Deep understanding of the Life & Annuity value chain.
Experience with policy administration platforms (FAST, FINEOS, ALIP, OIPA, DXC, EXL LifePro).
Experience designing enterprise integration architectures.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
Experience leading architecture governance and design reviews.
Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams.
Strong executive communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Lead architecture strategy, target-state design, and modernization roadmaps for large-scale insurance transformation programs.
Advise on technology investments, platform strategies, and transformation decisions.
Define scalable, secure, and future-ready architectures across business, application, data, and integration domains.
Drive adoption of AI-enabled solutions to improve outcomes and efficiency.
Lead end-to-end solution architecture across core platforms, cloud technologies, integrations, data, and analytics.
Define enterprise AI architecture strategies leveraging Generative AI, ML, and intelligent automation.
Establish patterns and integration frameworks for APIs, cloud-native solutions, and AI services.
Provide oversight for data architecture, migration, reporting, analytics, and MDM initiatives.
Lead architecture governance, review boards, and decision-making processes aligned with standards.
Ensure compliance with security, privacy, regulatory, and risk management requirements.
Partner with delivery, engineering, product, and operations teams to address challenges.
Promote the use of AI to accelerate solution delivery and engineering productivity.
Mentor architecture professionals and contribute to practice growth and business development.
Translate business priorities into actionable technology roadmaps and transformation strategies.
Support recruitment, coaching, and career development.
