Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager to join our BTG practice to help clients architect and modernize their business and technology ecosystems. You will lead architecture strategy for large-scale insurance transformations, define target-state architectures, and oversee implementation execution.

You will guide multidisciplinary teams, drive AI-enabled modernization, and advise executives on platform strategies and risk management. EY offers a comprehensive compensation package and career growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field.
8+ years of consulting, technology, or architecture experience.
5+ years of Life Insurance, Annuities, or Group Benefits experience.
Experience as Solution/Enterprise/Technical Architect on large transformation programs.
Deep understanding of Life & Annuity value chain (product development, underwriting, policy administration, servicing, billing, claims, distribution).
Experience with policy administration platforms (FAST, FINEOS AdminSuite, ALIP, OIPA, DXC wmA/CyberLife, EXL LifePro or similar PAS).
Experience designing enterprise integration architectures (APIs, middleware, event-driven patterns).
Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
Experience leading architecture governance, design reviews, and multi-disciplinary teams.
Strong executive communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and consulting skills.
Experience developing architecture roadmaps and transformation strategies.

Responsibilities

Lead architecture strategy, target-state design, and modernization roadmaps for large-scale insurance programs.
Advise executives on technology investments, platform strategies, and transformation decisions.
Define scalable, secure architectures for business, data, integration, and technology domains.
Drive adoption of AI-enabled solutions to improve outcomes and customer experience.
Lead end-to-end solution architecture across core platforms, cloud, data, and enterprise apps.
Oversee data architecture, migration, reporting, and master data management initiatives.
Govern architecture governance and decision processes to align with standards and objectives.
Partner with delivery teams to address challenges and mitigate risks.
Mentor architecture professionals and contribute to practice growth and business development.
