Job summary
Fulcrum Digital is seeking a Business Analyst III to lead requirements gathering for medium to large projects within Information Technology, focusing on insurance underwriting processes and related systems.
You will collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to translate needs into functional designs, support testing, UAT, and training, and ensure successful Go-Live with adherence to SDLC and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Leads requirements gathering for medium to large projects.
- Experience writing business requirements and functional specs.
- Knowledge of UML and BPMN and SDLC.
- Able to produce training guides and user documentation.
- Strong communication with underwriters, actuaries, and management.
Responsibilities
- Lead business requirements gathering for projects and enhancements.
- Facilitate communications between IT, business, and vendors.
- Define system scope and objectives based on user needs.
- Identify and evaluate potential solution options.
- Triage production support issues and coordinate resolutions.
- Provide SME guidance on P&C insurance and system implementations.
- Participate in full SDLC including design, test planning, and UAT.
- Support Go-Live activities and post-Go-Live support.
- Create quick reference guides and standard operating procedures.
