Job summary

Farmers Union Agency in Saint Paul is hiring a Customer Service Representative to support clients with auto, home, and other insurance needs. The role offers a mix of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility after training and requires strong customer service skills.

Prior insurance experience is preferred but not required; candidates should be detail-focused, able to learn quickly, and capable of asking questions to assist clients. A licensed agent is involved in growth activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or call center environments.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willing to obtain Property & Casualty license within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with auto, home, commercial, and farm P&C questions.
• Make policy changes, process renewals, and handle cancellations.
• Explain coverage and billing clearly to clients.
• Issue IDs, certificates of insurance, and other requests.
• Work with carriers to resolve client needs.
• Keep client information accurate and up to date.
• Refer clients to licensed producers for additional coverages.
• Deliver excellent service by phone and email.
• Support Licensed Agent/Producer in growing the business.
