Job summary

AmeriLife in the United States is seeking an Internal Insurance Strategist to discuss client needs and sell life, long-term care and disability income insurance through Crump’s Financial Institutions channel.

The role requires licenses in Life and Health, and FINRA registrations. You will handle referrals, guide clients through the underwriting process, and drive sales activity with advisors and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training and work-related experience.
• Minimum 2 years direct life, long-term care and disability income insurance selling experience with clients.
• Minimum 3+ years inside sales helping agents sell life insurance via a General Agency or carrier platform.
• Active Life and Health Insurance license; FINRA registrations (Series 6 and 63).

Responsibilities

• Lead clients through discovery, including personal or business needs and goals, current financial status, and describe solutions.
• Manage daily activities and drive sales activity and pending business.
• Handle incoming calls directly from referral sources and be available for pre-set calls with clients and Advisors.
• Complete insurance applications and follow cases through underwriting.
• Explain product features, differences, and advantages to clients and advisors.
• Ensure all sales activity progresses toward product purchase.
• Explain estate, business planning, asset leveraging and insurance planning basics.
