Job summary

AmeriLife in the United States (remote) is seeking an Internal Insurance Strategist to discuss client needs and sell life, long-term care and disability income insurance to clients and advisors supported by Crump’s Financial Institutions channel. Remote work.

The role requires a current 6/63 FINRA registration and Agent of Record experience; a bachelor’s degree and at least two years of direct life, long-term care and disability income sales. The position is fully remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training and work-related experience.
• Minimum 2 years direct life, long-term care and disability income insurance selling experience in the field directly with clients and/or 3+ years handling inside sales helping agents sell life insurance through a General Agency or insurance carrier platform
• Active Life and Health Insurance license required
• Must possess and maintain appropriate FINRA registrations (e.g. Series 6 and 63)

Responsibilities

• Lead clients through discovery, including personal or business needs and goals, current financial status, identify gaps and describe solutions.
• Manage daily activities and drive sales activity and pending business.
• Handle incoming calls from referrals and be available for pre-set calls with clients and Advisors.
• Complete insurance applications and follow underwriting process.
• Explain how products work, differences between product types and advantages.
• See sales activity through to product purchase.
• Explain basics of estate planning, business planning, asset leveraging, insurance planning and 1035 exchanges.
