Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• 2+ years of experience in investment banking (FIG, M&A or capital markets / structuring backgrounds preferred), insurance corporate development, actuarial advisory, asset-based finance, or similar role.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; experience with insurance company financial statements (GAAP and statutory) preferred.
• Leverage AI as a tool to drive efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support evaluation, diligence, negotiation, and execution of strategic transactions with insurance companies, including M&A, minority equity investments, reinsurance, and bespoke capital solutions.
• Underwrite equity investments in specialty finance and origination platforms for insurers, analyzing volumes, unit economics, asset quality, funding structures, and forward-flow arrangements.
• Assist in evaluation, acquisition, and structuring of asset portfolios to meet insurer objectives.
• Coordinate the structuring of investment solutions tailored to insurer objectives, including rated feeder structures and collateralized fund obligations.
• Build and maintain financial models, insurer capital analysis, rating agency frameworks, and relative value analysis.
