Summary:
The Insurance Specialist/Receptionist is responsible for overseeing patient flow, answering phones promptly and courteously and scheduling appointments. May be responsible for data entry of patient demographics, posting of charges, payments and adjustments as required in the clinic setting. Other responsibilities may include obtaining insurance verification, referral authorization, processing and follow-up of insurance claims and collections as required. Expected to have knowledge of all front office procedures and adhere to all CCPN policies and procedures.
