Job summary

Independent Financial Group in San Diego is seeking an Insurance Consultant, Director to serve as a subject matter expert, driving adoption of IFG's insurance strategies. The role focuses on promoting growth by delivering consultative support, improving advisor understanding, and applying IFG’s insurance solutions across the advisor network.

This 100% on-site position requires travel as needed and offers a base salary in a high six-figure range with bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Insurance strategies or sales support within the independent advisor marketplace.
• Deep understanding of Insurance solutions and their application in advisor practices.
• Strong presentation, relationship management, and selling skills.
• FINRA Series 7 and 66 or 63 and 65 required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Insurance Education and Support to increase advisor competency.
• Deliver training programs, webinars, and workshops on Insurance best practices.
• Assist advisors in meetings, case development, and placement.
• Maintain activity metrics and CRM records (Salesforce).
• Travel as needed.
