Job summary

TEKsystems in Troy, MI is seeking a Customer Service Representative – Insurance Servicing to support homeowners, agents, and institutions with insurance-related inquiries. Starting pay is $17.00/hr (English) or $18.50/hr for bilingual Spanish speakers, with on-site training to begin.

After training, the role offers a hybrid schedule and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering professional, accurate resolutions and documenting interactions across multiple systems.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of recent customer service experience.
Call center experience is preferred.
Typing speed of at least 35 WPM.
Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems efficiently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Active and reliable internet connection.
Reliable transportation for on-site training and office attendance.

Responsibilities

Handle approximately 35-45 inbound calls daily from borrowers, insurance agents, and financial institutions.
Answer questions related to homeowners insurance coverage, policies, and payments.
Research customer inquiries using multiple systems while accurately documenting interactions.
Provide timely, professional, and accurate resolutions to customer concerns.
Navigate multiple applications simultaneously while maintaining excellent customer service.
Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to resolve complex insurance-related questions.
Ensure all customer interactions meet company quality and compliance standards.
