Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Customer Service/Insurance Sales experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred but not required.
• Valid Texas Limited Lines or Property & Casualty license is highly preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation for daily marketing.
• Basic computer knowledge and strong written, verbal and people skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and quickly learn company software.
• Continuing education courses (paid by ALPA) required to maintain license status with TDI.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with insurance needs: new policies, edits, payments, renewals and reinstatements, and answer questions.
• Inspect vehicles to determine acceptable insurance risk.
• Seek out and develop clientele through networking and marketing.
• Develop marketing strategies with the office manager to attract new customers.
• Handle policy renewals and communicate with underwriting to complete policies.
• Assist with daily housekeeping tasks.
