ALPA Insurance is actively hiring for an in-office Insurance Sales Agent. The role focuses on helping customers with new policies, edits, renewals, and payments.

You will also inspect vehicles to assess risk and develop a client base through networking with the office manager. The position offers hourly pay plus uncapped commissions, with a full benefits package including medical, dental, and vision, paid time off, 401(k) with company match, and licensing support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Customer Service/Insurance Sales experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
• Hold a valid and current Limited Lines or Property & Casualty License in Texas (highly preferred, but not required)
• Must have reliable transportation for daily marketing.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with various insurance needs such as new policies, editing existing policies, taking payments, renewing and reinstating policies, and answering questions.
• Inspect vehicles to decide if it is an acceptable insurance risk.
• Seek out new clients and develop clientele by networking and marketing; develop marketing strategies with the office manager.
• Perform administrative tasks and handle policy renewals, and contact underwriting to complete policies.
• Assist with daily housekeeping routines.
