Job summary

ALPA Insurance is seeking an in-office Insurance Sales Agent to provide exceptional customer service, help clients select policies, and process renewals with underwriting support.

You will build a local client base through networking and daily marketing, while benefiting from licensing support and ongoing training. This role emphasizes a strong sales mindset and reliable, independent work in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Customer service/insurance sales experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred but not required.
• Hold a Texas license (Limited Lines or Property & Casualty) preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation for daily marketing.
• Strong computer, written and verbal skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with insurance needs: new policies, edits, payments, renewals, reinstatements and questions.
• Inspect vehicles to decide if they are acceptable risks.
• Develop clientele via networking and marketing with office manager and team.
• Handle policy renewals and coordinate with underwriting to complete policies.
• Assist with daily office housekeeping tasks.
