A-MAX Insurance in McAllen, TX is hiring for an in-office Insurance Sales Agent. You will assist customers with new policies, edits, renewals, and payments while developing a client base through local networking and marketing.

The role offers an hourly wage plus uncapped commission with weekly pay, plus comprehensive benefits and licensing assistance. Training, licensing support, and ongoing career growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Customer service or insurance sales experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
• Hold a valid Limited Lines or Property & Casualty License in Texas is highly preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation for daily marketing.
• Basic computer knowledge and good written, verbal, and people skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and learn company software.
• Complete continuing education courses paid by A-MAX to maintain license.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with insurance needs such as new policies, edits, payments, renewals, and reinstatements.
• Inspect vehicles to assess insurance risk.
• Seek out new clients and develop clientele through networking and marketing.
• Perform administrative tasks and handle policy renewals with underwriting.
• Assist with daily housekeeping routines.
