A-MAX Insurance seeks an Insurance Sales Agent in-office in McAllen, TX. The role focuses on helping customers with new policies, edits, renewals, and payments while building a client base through networking and marketing.

The ideal candidate has strong sales and customer service skills, bilingual abilities, and a Texas license or willingness to obtain one. Comprehensive benefits and licensing support are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Customer Service/Insurance Sales experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
• Hold a valid and current Texas Property & Casualty License (Limited Lines) preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation for daily marketing.
• Basic computer knowledge and strong written, verbal, and people skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and learn proprietary software.
• Continued education courses paid by A-MAX to maintain license status with TDI.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with insurance needs: new, edits, payments, renewals, reinstatements.
• Inspect vehicles to assess risk for insurance eligibility.
• Prospect new clients and develop clientele through networking and marketing.
• Handle administrative tasks and coordinate policy renewals with underwriting.
• Support daily office housekeeping and workflow.
