Amanda Young Farmers Insurance in Kansas City, MO is seeking a confident, customer-focused full-time Sales Representative to connect with prospective customers through outbound calls, present insurance products, and identify tailored solutions that meet their needs.

Base salary is $30,000 with average commissions and bonuses in the first year around $30,000. Commission is earned on renewals, with a 20% average annual pay increase.

Qualifications

• Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive, resourceful, and coachable.
• Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
• Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
• Professional phone etiquette.
• A Property & Casualty insurance license is a plus, open to candidates who are willing to obtain before start date.

Responsibilities

• Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
• Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
• Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.
• Ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program.
• Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
• Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources.
