Job summary

AAA Washington is seeking an Insurance Agent to prospect and sell home, auto, and life insurance. Agents sell AAA Insurance and other carriers, leveraging the AAA membership model and lead sources to grow households purchasing insurance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years previous experience selling home, auto, and life insurance with a track record of sales success.
• Must currently possess active Washington P&C and L&D licenses.

Responsibilities

• Sell and make recommendations on all insurance products offered by the carriers represented by the AAA Insurance Agency.
• Identify and develop sales opportunities using lead management systems and membership sources to increase overall sales.
• Respond to all quote requests in a timely manner according to service level agreements.
• Identify, evaluate, and provide resolutions to customers’ insurance needs.
• Ensure underwriting accuracy and placements aligned with risk to maintain acceptable loss ratios.
• Document and submit applications on time per carrier guidelines and policies.
• Perform follow-up calls and renewal reviews to meet retention standards.
• Develop and enhance relationships with customers to build referrals and repeat business.
• Meet and exceed personal and agency sales goals and support AAA membership model.
