Job summary

A-Max Auto Insurance is seeking an energetic Office Manager to join our in-office team in Houston. The role ensures all location tasks are carried out, with a focus on sales support and customer service within an insurance environment.

You will coordinate scheduling, training, and daily operations, while guiding agents and ensuring policy needs, payments, renewals, and inquiries are handled efficiently. This is a hands-on, in-office opportunity.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of insurance sales experience.
• Minimum of 6 months of lead/supervisory experience.
• Limited Lines License required; Property & Casualty preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED; some college preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation for daily marketing and deposits.
• Sales mindset with a strong desire to succeed.
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills with customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store on time.
• Scheduling, underwriting, training/coaching, reporting, creating sales/marketing strategies, and delegating tasks to agents.
• Maintaining open communication with upper management.
• Ensure agents adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Assist customers with new policies, edits, payments, renewals and inquiries.
• Inspect vehicles to assess insurance risk.
• Assist with daily housekeeping routines for COVID safety.
• Other duties as assigned.
