Job summary

Monumental Life is seeking an Associate Director to grow quality sales, conserve existing business, and deliver exceptional service to policyholders. You will recruit, train, and develop a staff of field personnel while coordinating with Home Office to support daily activities.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will manage 4–10 representatives, implement action plans, monitor results, and ensure profitability within budget while maintaining strong public relations in the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Some college or undergraduate degree in business preferred.
• Life and Health license required.
• 3–5 years’ experience in an insurance sales environment required.
• Prior management experience in an insurance sales environment preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Able to build high morale and commit to goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop new quality sales and conserve existing business.
• Provide ongoing quality service to policyholders.
• Recruit, select, train, retain and develop sales personnel.
• Manage 4–10 field employees and coordinate with Home Office.
• Create action plans to ensure staff profitability and goal attainment.
• Monitor budgets, expenses and company rules and procedures.
• Represent Monumental Life in local industry organizations.
