Qualifications

• High school diploma required; some college/undergraduate degree preferred.
• Life and Health license required.
• 3–5 years in an insurance sales environment required.
• Prior management experience in insurance sales preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Ability to motivate others and build morale to meet goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a staff of four to ten field employees.
• Recruit, train, and develop sales personnel.
• Plan and implement action plans to ensure profitability of the Staff and Representatives.
• Set objectives and monitor weekly activities and results.
• Manage field office budget, costs, and disburse funds in accordance with company rules.
• Conduct weekly joint field work with Representatives to observe and generate assisted sales.
• Provide professional, timely, courteous service to policyholders.
• Represent Monumental Life in local industry groups and maintain strong community relations.
