Meier Insurance Agency is seeking an entry-level Sales Representative to join its team in a hands-on learning environment. The role focuses on driving insurance sales through effective client engagement and service-oriented approach.

You will receive comprehensive training, ongoing support from a Sales Manager, and opportunities for rapid advancement in a culture that values initiative and results. The position is full-time and located on-site in Missouri.

Qualifications

• Experience with accounting or sales software is beneficial.
• Willingness to learn about the insurance industry and regulations.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office proficiency.
• Must be a superb communicator with customer service experience beneficial.
• Must have or be willing to obtain an insurance license.

Responsibilities

• Update reports, records, bookkeeping systems, and other tools to report progress toward monthly sales goals.
• Tailor risk management strategies and client profiles to reflect each customer's needs.
• Stay updated on changes to insurance rules or policies to adjust programs for clients.
• Implement marketing strategies including cold calling and networking while managing existing clients.
• Conduct meetings with new and potential clients to present suitable insurance policies.
