Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance is hiring an Insurance Sales Agent to join the Albemarle County office. You will service existing accounts and grow new business, with a compensation plan that blends base salary and commissions to reward performance.

The role starts with a base salary plus escalating earnings through renewals, bonuses, and incentive trips, supported by licensed staff, training, and benefits from day one. Strong community ties and local client relationships are prized.

COMPENSATION RANGE:

Average First-Year Total Compensation: $52,000 – $125,000 annually (inclusive of base salary)

Base Salary: $37,000 – $52,000 annually (dependent upon location and established book of business)

We’re looking to hire a full-time Insurance Sales Agent to work in our Albemarle County Office. This position will service existing accounts while growing new business in the surrounding area.

Our Insurance Sales Agents start with an existing book of business, a base salary and the potential for additional income from a variety of sources:
