Job summary

Virginia Farm Bureau Family of Companies seeks an Insurance Sales Agent for the King William, VA area. This exempt role offers a base salary plus commissions and performance-based earnings, with a first-year total compensation range of $52,000 to $125,000.

You will service an existing book of business, build relationships in the community, and meet with members to provide tailored insurance solutions while pursuing growth opportunities and licensing support.

Compensation Range

Average First-Year Total Compensation: $52,000 – $125,000 annually (inclusive of base salary)

Base Salary: $37,000 – $52,000 annually (dependent upon location and established book of business)

Position Summary

Virginia Farm Bureau desires to hire an Insurance Sales Agent to join our team in the King William County Farm Bureau Office located in King William, VA.

If you are a driven, self-motivated, and goal-oriented individual, this position is for you! Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills for building strong relationships and a desire to help and serve their community members and organizations.

Preferred Requirements

• Property & Casualty license and Life, Health & Annuities license, or ability to obtain these with Virginia Farm Bureau providing and paying for licensing training materials/class.

• Prior sales experience (any industry) helpful but not required.
