Job Description
This is a relationship‑driven sales role with long‑term income potential through commission. A ramp‑up earnings support is provided during the first months as the pipeline and book of business are built.
New Agent Ramp‑up Incentive
Up to $2,500 to transition by developing the pipeline and building a strong foundation for long‑term success.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the sale and ongoing service of ACG‑branded and brokered insurance products, memberships, and financial products within a high‑traffic ACG branch; uncover customer needs, generate new business, retain existing clients, grow ACG’s portfolio, overcome objections, negotiate, close sales, and meet or exceed individual sales targets and incentive expectations.
- Conduct comprehensive insurance reviews to assess risk, identify coverage gaps, recommend solutions, quote, bind, and issue policies in accordance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain strong rapport with members and clients, responding to inquiries with professionalism and urgency, supporting high customer satisfaction, loyalty, and trust in the AAA brand.
- Actively engage in local branch and community events to prospect, expand referral networks, develop new business opportunities, and identify cross‑sell and referral opportunities into travel and financial services.
Required Qualifications
- Active State Property & Casualty Insurance Sales license
- Active State Life and Health Insurance Sales license, or obtain within 90 days of hire
- Qualifications to sell and/or service Auto Club Group Membership products
- Health and Accident licenses and appointments where applicable, within a timeframe established by the Business Unit
- High School diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of customer‑facing experience in a fast‑paced, computer‑automated business environment (e.g., financial/banking)
- Insurance experience is helpful but not required

- Sales technology and tools: proficient in leveraging technology, including CRM platforms and Microsoft Office.

- Ability to work varied hours, including possible weekends
- Some travel to local events may be required
Compensation & Incentives
- Base pay (non‑exempt) – typical first‑year earnings $57,000–$62,000+ based on performance
- Ramp‑up support $2,500 processed at 30 and 60 days of employment
- Supplemental pay for six months: $200 /week during months 0–2, $150 /week during months 3–4, $100 /week during months 5–6
- Performance incentives: elevated commission structure during the first 15 months and a New‑Hire On‑Pace Bonus tied to milestones
- Annual 401(k) plan: 3% automatic deferral, company match 50% on contributions up to 6% of pay, additional company contribution 4% of pay each pay day; 100% vested after three years of service
