Job summary

AAA Auto Club Enterprises seeks service-driven professionals for a fast-paced insurance sales environment. You will qualify prospects, quote memberships and personal lines coverage, and handle policy data entry and premium collection.

Responsibilities include following up with members, resolving issues, and identifying cross-selling opportunities, with occasional Saturday work. High school diploma required; 1–3 years sales preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• Sales experience is helpful (1-3 years).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Qualify and quote prospects, selling memberships and personal lines insurance products.
• Collect premiums, bind coverage, and enter policy data into insurance systems.
• Develop knowledge of policy provisions, rating factors, rules, and insurance systems.
• Follow up with members and insureds and prospect for new business.
• Inspect documentation and resolve membership and insurance issues with discretion.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and perform multi-tasking.
• Work occasional Saturdays.

Responsibilities include:

• Qualifying and quoting prospects, selling memberships and personal lines insurance products.
• Collecting premiums, binding coverage, entering policy data into insurance systems, and responding to all underwriting inquiries.
• Developing a complete and thorough working knowledge of all insurance policy provisions, rating factors, rules, and insurance systems.
• Following up with members and insureds and prospecting for new business.
• Inspecting related documentation and resolving membership and insurance problems using discretion and independent judgment.
• Multi-tasking and identifying cross-selling opportunities.
• Working occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required, college degree preferred
• 1-3 years sales experience preferred
• Must have moderate proficiency in using Microsoft Office software, such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Advanced communication skills required, both written and oral.
• Ability to qualify for a Personal Lines License and a Life Insurance License
• Possess a competitive sales drive to meet and exceed monthly goals
• Successful completion of a background, credit check and drug screen
• Possess a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
